I kept running in circles wondering what might happen, or what might be happening at that moment! Rinad tried to calm me down but there was no use. I called both S3ood and Yousif. None of them answered me! I was so sure that something was going on!

I suddenly heard a man screaming my name!

"Rubaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Ruba; *gasp* bismillah!
Rinad; You stay here! Don't move an inch! Ana barou7 ashouf!
Ruba; Ranood please goulilyyyy!
Rinad; ra7 agoul lich 7abeeebtyy khally mobilich yammich!
Ruba; Sure!

She went downstairs as I tried to calm myself down. I sat on the bed but I was shaking like hell! I heard a couple of screams but I couldn't make up the words!,, I was so anxious so I went downstairs just to know! I looked out the sliding door, and there they were.

Rinad was standing there unaware of what she should do.
S3ood clingling to Yousif's collar.

I had to step up!

Ruba; Heyy heyy! ish9aaayiir?
S3ood; Ruba stay out of this! Malich sheghil!
Ruba; Excuse me?
Yousif; S3ood here thinks I touched you!
S3ood; I don't think! I know!
Youif; You know I wouldn't do that!

Hold it. Yousif showed his other face.
The face I thought existed but hoped that it didn't.
His first face I knew.

Ruba; Yousif what are you saying?
Yousif; No miss Ruba! What are you saying?

I got confused. I really didn't know what to say! I couldn't believe my eyes! I just walked off! S3ood ran after me and held my shoulder to face him!

S3ood; Ruba khala9. Let's not suffer. Let's put it out there. I still love you, and I still love you. The past few months were the worst months of my life! ,, I held this so long. But I just want to ask you. And whatever your answer might be. I'll accept it. I just never want to think in the future "what if..?" or "why didn't I..?" I never want to feel regret ever again. So ,, Ruba ,, Don't you want us to go back to where we were mithly ana? Wala bs ana elly lal7een a7ibiich o abeech?

I kept silent. I looked deeply into his eyes. Never did I find eyes that are as honest as his. 3younyy ghourigat! ,, Not because I was sad or confused. I was happy. No scratch that! I was over the moon happy! A smile slowly creeped to my face, It got wider and wider until my teeth showed.

Yousif looked so angry, But he decided I wasn't worth the fight. Coz he knows very well I'm never giving him what he wants. So he simply walked away and drove off.

S3ood came by again to walk with me,

S3ood; So?

I reached for his hand. It's been so long!! It felt so good. He tightened his grip like he always did, he held it to his chest then kissed it.

Ruba; I missed you so much! You won't believe it.
S3ood; Ana I missed you akthar 9adgeenyy! Kil youm kil youm ad3yyy allah yridiich lyy o ewa3eech min yousif elwa6yy!
Ruba; S3ood 3ady you promise me something?
S3ood; Anything.
Ruba; Promise me, that we'll pretend that Yousif never came to our lives. And that he never existed. And that you'll trust me and never doubt my love for you.

4 Years later:


I had just finished my hair-do. Rinad picked me up from the salon.

Rinad; OMG you loooook stunniiiiinnnggg!!
Ruba; OMG I need thaaaat 7addyyy!
Rinad; OMG 3allagnaa 3ala OMG;p
Ruba; *laughs her heart out* ,, ambaih ranood! I'm so so nervous!
Rinad; 7abeebtyy don't be! Remember my wedding? I was as nervous as you are, But it turned out just fine!
Ruba; Yeah, You were so adorable! Remember the tissues under your armpits? xD
Rinad; Waaah xD! Okay let's not mention that:p
Ruba; Heheheh!
Rinad; Oooh we're here. And so is my friend!

You see Rinad's friend is an expert on light make-up. It's light, Not like those "I know you know I painted my face with make up" kind of make up. And not like "I put light make up because this isn't a big occasion" Helloooooo? It is a HUUUGE occasion it's my weddinngg! So she has the kind of make up that is in between. I went to my hotel room, we booked like 4 rooms at Marrioutt, But there was only one for me and S3ood. We got the best suite! Any way I wore my tshirt and pants. Salwa (Rinad's friend) worked her magic on my face, I looked in the mirror and I looked beautiful! I then took off my clothes and put on the wedding dress I got from Italy. And I put on the shoe S3oodyy got me when he came back from the US finishing his masters. Those years were really tough on me. But gladly he proposed the minute he came back to Kuwait! ,, Rinad was there with me the whole time, since you know,,,I don't have a mom nor a sister by my side. She lit bokhoor for me and walked me downstairs. I went into the ballroom, Everybody was cheering and yibibiing:p

I sat on the kousha, people came to kiss me and have photos with me. All that time I was smiling and simply waiting for S3ood to come by. For I know that would be the best part of the wedding. I didn't care for anything else.

He came by after words. My eyes were on him the whole time during the zaffa. He came along with all the guys. My dad and brother were there and they looked very very happy for me. Father realized that he doesn't need a wife to make him happy. He decided that Khalid and I are the only people who can make him happy under all circumstances! Khalid got married to the girls he loved. 6ab3an after a long struggle 3ala ma aqna3tah enny em6awlah! Ma ritha ella laiman dara enna elly abeeh yadris barra o bageelah wayid 3ala eltakharoj! His wife is amazing and we're like best friends!

S3ood came over, kissed my forehead, held my jaw and looked deeply into my eyes.

Ruba; Hehehe..

He sat down, And then you know what happens ;p I don't want to bore you with all the dancing and all the blah blah blah ;p!

MOST IMPORTANTLY! I married the man I love.

And yes, we did live happily ever after with 3 beautiful children. I wished for mom and Dana to be there with me through all my happy moments. But I'm sure they were in a place that is much better!

Yousif's name never crossed our tongue's ever since that day. And it will stay that way forever. Everyday my love for S3ood grows, And everyday I realize how stupid I was to let him go. Everyday he thanks me for being me. Everyday he prays he dies before me;*
